Lowney Associates performed erosion and sediment control monitoring during a rainy season at Greystone Homes' Greystone Estates, a 40-acre residential development in San Jose. A total of 49 single-family homes were constructed on this site formerly known as the Soto Property. This service, provided in conjunction with our earthwork observation and testing services, included on-site recommendations to continually improve erosion and sediment control provisions. Best Management Practices (BMPs) were implemented, including additional silt fencing, straw matting, blown straw, hay baling, rock filtration systems, soil and sand barriers, and construction entrance protection.
