Lowney Associates recently prepared a comprehensive environmental compliance manual for the United States Postal Service, outlining compliance requirements for a broad range of topics including waste classification, hazardous materials storage, emergency response, storm water pollution prevention, asbestos management, pollution prevention and others. The user-friendly manual has been distributed in USPS districts covering much of Northern California. Environmental training for over 100 key employees was subsequently performed over a four-day period. The manual was prepared as part of the USPS' continuing efforts to maintain compliance with increasingly complex environmental regulations.
