When another firm's geotechnical recommendations were deemed not feasible due to the associated high construction costs, Green Valley Land, LLC retained Lowney Associates as Geotechnical Engineer-of-Record. The development consisted of three office buildings at the 125-acre Green Valley Corporate Park in Fairfield. The Copart building, adjacent to Interstate 80, is a three-story structure totaling approximately 100,000 square feet. The second and third buildings are each two stories, totaling approximately 111,000 square feet. Lowney also provided construction observation and testing services. Reichers Spence & Associates, Inc. was the civil engineer; Devcon Construction was the design-build contractor; and Nishkian Menninger was the structural engineer for the project.
