Founded in Santa Clara County in 1969 as JV Lowney and Associates, TRC provides geotechnical and environmental consulting services focused on adding value to clients' efforts. Now as part of TRC there are Northern California offices in Mountain View, Oakland, Concord, San Francisco, Sacramento and Half Moon Bay.
TRC Companies, Inc. is an engineering and construction company with over 2,200 employees nationwide. TRC specializes in environmental compliance and remediation, infrastructure, planning and design, water resources, and information technology.
In January 2007, we have reintroduced ourselves as TRC and have joined all of TRC's affiliate companies under a single TRC brand. Our unified brand is a symbol of our common commitment to bringing all of TRC's outstanding engineering, scientific, and technical expertise together to meet client's specific needs.
As part of TRC's Infrastructure Group, we combine intimate knowledge in geotechnical, envrionmental and construction service in the Western region with the resources of a national firm.
Our staff includes registered civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineers;
registered geologists; certified engineering geologists; certified hydro-geologists;
registered environmental assessors; environmental scientists; and staff and
engineering technicians (EITs).
The guiding four-pronged principle for all TRC services is: Plan, Do, Review, and Improve. We view each project from our client's perspective, developing clear and practical recommendations to best meet our client's needs.
In 1993, we initiated our Continuous Improvement Program. This comprehensive,
long-range, total quality management program aims to consistently improve
all aspects of our business practices. Clients benefit from the positive,
significant results of this continual effort to improve our services.
